MAAD: Pop Minimalist

Every month, the Red Dot Design Museum Singapore organises an event which is basically a glorious explosion of creativity and imagination. Market of Artists and Designers (MAAD) is a marketplace that promotes the works and talents of enterprising creatives, and it also serves as an opportunity for these creative individuals to forge stronger connections with the artistic community. This monthly escapade away from reality promises a funky night of art, design, fun and shopping.

Last Friday saw us at MAAD, with our very own reimagination of minimalism as we know it today. Pop Minimalism features neon lights and concrete, resulting in a perfect amalgamation of pared-down elements and the funky retro 80s that incorporated loud designs and splashes of colour. Injecting our very own dose of fun and individuality, our pop up store at MAAD featured neon lighting as a stark contrast to the raw texture of the unembellished concrete blocks.
  We would like to thank those who came by and say hi to us at pop up store. We hope that you had as much fun as we did. We are already buzzing from excitement waiting for the next event to arrive.
