Shine Festival Art Market

Last weekend, the entire stretch of Orchard Road was closed due to the SHINE festival - an annual festival held meant to celebrate youths and their achievements. With exciting music acts by Jay Park, Gentle Bones and Charlie Lim, we were honestly not surprised when we spotted the overwhelming crowd on the streets. 

Our team had a booth at Scape for the Shine Festival Art Market from 2-3 July, and other than showcasing our glasses, we were giving out 100 balloons with our own doodles. With the crowd and the sweltering heat, it was an exhausting weekend for the team; but nevertheless, it was pretty satisfying; getting to chat and learn more about our customers.

Lemon, our marketing intern, also tirelessly attached our flyers to the balloons so that everybody will know where to find us. Children, parents and even teenagers came forward for one of our balloons and we were more than happy that our doodles were so well received. Unfortunately, given the blazing weather, our balloons deflated pretty fast and by the time it was evening, they were no longer flying high as they did in the morning.

Bennett ran around giving out our balloons - while also having fun interacting with everybody on the streets. We hope you had just as much fun as we did and we'll see you during our next event!
